Valid Government-Issued Photo ID Required:
Accepted forms of identification include a current driver's license, state-issued ID, or passport.
State ID*: Any state-issued identification card is acceptable.
Foreign Passport or Consulate Card*: A valid foreign passport or a consulate-issued identification card is also considered valid.
Canadian or Mexican Driver's License*: We accept driver's licenses from Canada and Mexico only. Please note that licenses from other countries are not accepted
Military ID*: A valid military identification card is recognized as a valid form of identification.
CA State Employee Card (City ID Card)*: This card must be specifically issued by the state of California and should not be confused with other state-issued identification cards.
Tribal ID*: Tribal identification cards are also accepted.
*Must have Photograph, Signature, Physical Description and Serial Number.
Age Requirement:
All signatories must be at least 18 years old and must be present to sign.
Document Preparation:
Please ensure that all documents requiring notarization are present, complete, and ready for signature.
Witnesses:
If your document requires witness signatures, please note that witnesses cannot be mentioned in the document or have any connection to individuals mentioned in the document. Witnesses must have a current ID available and be physically present during the signing in the presence of the Notary. Please be aware that nurses and medical staff are not eligible to sign as witnesses on non-medical documents. If you require witnesses and cannot provide them, we may be able to assist for an additional fee. Feel free to call us for more information.

Examples of Documents That Cannot Be Notarized:
1. Birth , Marriage and Death Certificates:
These are official records, and only a governmental agency can issue certified copies.
2. Photographs:
Notarizing photographs is not a recognized notarial act. However, it is possible to notarize a statement related to a photograph, with the photograph attached.
3. Mismatched Names:
When the name on the document does not match the name on the presented ID.
4. Documents with Blanks:
Documents must be complete and free of blank spaces. In cases where blanks are intentionally left empty, the signer may be asked to insert "to be added later" or "N/A."
5. Faxed or Copied Signatures:
Notarizing a photocopied signature is not permissible.
6. Backdating or Forward Dating:
Notaries cannot retroactively or prematurely date a notarization. The document should bear the date it was created or became effective, with notarization occurring on the same day.
